Bespoke Kitchen, Cabinetry & Interiors Project Services
How We Work
No two projects are the same. A single-room commission requires a different rhythm from a whole-house refurbishment, and every home brings its own character and constraints.
The First Conversation
Most projects begin at our showroom in Chiddingfold. Seeing materials in context and discussing ideas in person allows us to understand not only the house, but how it is lived in. These early conversations are unhurried and form the foundation of the design. We listen carefully before drawing begins.
Design Development
Initial concepts are prepared by hand, allowing proportions and ideas to be explored freely before being worked up into detailed drawings. As the design develops, practical considerations are resolved alongside aesthetic ones — circulation, storage, light, architectural detail. Clients work directly with us throughout. There is a single point of contact from first enquiry through to completion, ensuring continuity and clarity at every stage. Where architects are involved, we collaborate closely to integrate cabinetry and interiors properly within the wider scheme.
Refinement & Technical Resolution
Once a direction is agreed, designs are refined and detailed carefully. Materials are reviewed at the showroom, finishes are considered in context and technical drawings are developed. Our costs and programme are open-book and transparent. This allows decisions to be taken confidently and responsibly, with a clear understanding of scope and timing.
Making & Installation
Cabinetry is made by our team of skilled makers and installed by experienced fitters who are accustomed to working within both period structures and contemporary settings. Because design and manufacture are closely aligned, intent is maintained throughout. For many clients, we provide a fully managed turnkey service. We coordinate the wider project team, oversee site works and manage scheduling from concept through to installation, ensuring the process remains measured and well organised.
Completion & Aftercare
As installation concludes, we review every element carefully. Our involvement does not end at handover. We remain available to advise and support, reflecting our long-term commitment to the homes we work within.
Built For Generations & Sourced With Integrity
At Figura, we believe the most sustainable kitchens and interiors are those that do not need replacing. Longevity sits at the heart of our approach — in the way we design, the materials we select and the way each project is delivered. We use FSC and PEFC-certified timbers, ensuring that oak, walnut and ash are responsibly sourced. Finishes are low-VOC and water-based wherever possible, creating a healthier environment within the home while maintaining the depth and durability our work is known for.
Keeping Our Work Local
By partnering with British makers and suppliers within close reach of our Surrey showroom, we reduce unnecessary transport while maintaining close oversight of quality and craftsmanship.
Most importantly, our cabinetry is built to endure. Figura kitchens and interiors are designed to stand the test of time — aesthetically and structurally. Our aftercare service reflects this long-term commitment. We remain available to advise, maintain and support our work well beyond installation, ensuring it continues to perform and age as it should.
For us, sustainability is not an added layer. It is the natural result of building properly, choosing carefully and creating interiors intended to last for generations.
