Further Information FAQ’s

  • At Figura, we provide a comprehensive service covering kitchens, other interior rooms, bespoke joinery and refurbishment projects. While our reputation is rooted in handcrafted kitchens, we frequently design and install cabinetry for the entire home—including bedrooms, dressing rooms, bathrooms, studies, games rooms and boot rooms. Our aim is to ensure every room functions intuitively and feels part of a single, well considered scheme. We work on single rooms through to whole house projects.

  • Our experience spans the full architectural spectrum. Many of our projects are in local period country houses and Grade I and II listed buildings, where we respect original proportions and irregular features. We are equally comfortable in contemporary new builds, where we provide the clean lines and specialist joinery required for modern living.

  • Everything we create is designed for your specific project. We do not use standard sizes or modular ranges. Each piece is built to order using traditional methods—such as in-frame construction and mortise and tenon joinery—allowing us to tailor the cabinetry to the exact dimensions and architectural requirements of your home.

  • We offer a managed service for clients who prefer a single point of contact. We coordinate with a trusted network of builders, plumbers, and electricians to ensure our designs are installed accurately. We are also happy to work alongside your existing professional team, providing the detailed plans and joinery expertise needed to support their work.

  • We specify high-grade, sustainable hardwoods and natural materials chosen for their longevity. From hand-painted finishes to natural timber and stone, we select every component—including hardware and integrated lighting—to ensure a durable and high-quality result that matures well over time.

  • Yes. We often act as the specialist partner for property professionals. We provide the technical insight and detailed joinery layouts required to integrate bespoke cabinetry into a larger refurbishment or architectural project.

  • As every project is unique and handmade, we suggest starting the conversation as early as possible. This allows us to properly explore the layout and design details before moving into the production phase. We work with you to align our process with your wider build schedule.

  • The first step is to call us or arrange a visit to our Chiddingfold showroom to discuss your requirements and view examples of our craftsmanship.
