Design & Interior Architecture

Every project begins with an understanding of how the home is lived in. We are often brought in at the start of a project, working independently with you or alongside your architect to help set the vision for the reconfiguration or extension of your home. Our involvement at this stage often guides the wider renovation and provides clear direction for the transformation ahead.

Each property is different. In period houses — including listed homes — we respond carefully to the existing proportions and character. In contemporary homes, we focus on clarity and balance. In both cases, the aim is to ensure the spaces feel natural and considered, not forced.

There is no fixed formula. Every project is shaped individually, around the house and around you. Clients work directly with us throughout, maintaining a single point of contact as ideas develop and decisions are made.

Interior Design

Interior design is a valuable extension of our architectural work.

Once the layout and structure are resolved, we help shape the finishes and details that bring the space together. Our in-house designer prepares considered mood boards and material palettes, allowing colours, textures and materials to be reviewed in context.

We advise on flooring, lighting, hardware and furniture — sourcing new pieces where needed and working with the furniture and artwork you already have where it makes sense to do so. The aim is not to change for the sake of it, but to refine and strengthen the overall scheme.

These finishing layers add depth, allowing the interior to feel complete and in keeping with the architecture.

A Clear Line Through the Project

Whether we are shaping a single room or contributing to a larger refurbishment, our role at this stage brings clarity.

By setting the vision early and staying involved as the design develops, we ensure that the architectural ideas and the interior details remain aligned. It keeps the process focused and avoids unnecessary changes later on.

The result is a home that feels cohesive, deliberate and extremely comfortable.
