Palladian-Style
Country House Kitchen | Surrey
At the heart of this Palladian-style restoration lies a bespoke kitchen designed to honour the home’s classical proportions and heritage while embracing the needs of modern family life. The intention was to create a space that felt naturally rooted in the architecture, preserving the grand sightlines and traditional elegance that define the property. The result is a luxury handcrafted kitchen that balances timeless aesthetics with contemporary practicality.
A spacious European oak island forms the centrepiece of the room. Expertly crafted and beautifully detailed, it provides generous storage and intelligent functionality. Within its considered design are a dishwasher, microwave and purpose-built drawers, ensuring the island serves as both a hardworking workspace and a striking visual anchor. The steel grey Satinata granite surface adds a refined contrast, its soft movement complementing the warmth of the oak cabinetry below.
Classical features, such as understated pilaster legs, introduce a quiet nod to the building’s Palladian character. These architectural details help ground the kitchen within its historic setting, while maintaining the clean, elegant lines that have become synonymous with Figura’s approach to bespoke kitchen design.
Bespoke elements elevate the space further. A dedicated coffee station provides a moment of everyday pleasure, discreetly integrated yet always within easy reach. Open shelving offers a gentle balance of function and display, allowing the craftsmanship and materials to shine without overwhelming the room.
This project reflects our commitment to creating luxury bespoke kitchens that respond to both architecture and lifestyle. By uniting traditional craftsmanship with modern performance, the design supports the rhythm of contemporary living while becoming an enduring part of this significant restoration.
