Some Figura projects are relatively easy to describe, but where do you start with a whole house renovation such as this?
Maybe it’s with the intricate tiled hallway and the beautiful oak flooring. Maybe you’d choose the light and airy kitchen. Or maybe you’d start outside with the bespoke garden gate.
Whatever your decision, you’d be spoilt for choice because every room in this beautiful Georgian property hosts its share of architectural and design gems, many carefully retained and restored. The house is a veritable showcase of craftsmanship at its best, from building and landscaping to carpentry and plumbing.
We remodelled the first floor interior, enabling us to add a fourth bedroom (complete with stunning picture window), a new en-suite for the master bedroom, and a new family bathroom.
We sourced skirting, coving, fireplaces, radiators, staircases and doors. We even re-leaded the roof and rebuilt chimneys. We replaced the beautiful sash windows throughout the house, complementing them with stunning bespoke shutters.
Then we decorated, inside and out, with a wonderfully subtle palette. Add a few final details, like ironmongery and door furniture, and the end result is a relaxed and stylish family home.
The icing on the cake? The project was pure joy.
