Our Story

Figura was founded in 1991 by Giles Slater.

His vision was to create beautiful, individual kitchens and interiors which would enhance the life of his clients and be sympathetic to the period and style of their properties.

With a background in design Giles first honed his skills in the world of boats where he learned that every detail needed to be designed individually and for a clear purpose.

He transferred his design skills to period properties, with the specific purpose of designing individually for each client.

The company has grown and evolved, but the vision has stayed the same. With design at our core, we help clients transform their homes with visually uplifting, practical spaces and the very best master craftsmanship.

Showroom

Our Showroom sits proudly on the Green in Chiddingfold, in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside. With its vaulted ceilings and wonky walls, it offers us a great opportunity to showcase our design skills and our craftsmanship.

It’s a calm and beautiful space where clients are welcome to see the quality of our cabinetry and meet for creative discussions about their individual projects.
