  1. Warmer weather - Flip flops and sunshine, when you can spend most of your time enjoying the outdoors the possibilities for adventure are endless…

  2. Holidays - It doesn’t matter where you are going or who with…time away, switching off, relaxing…it’s all good for restoring and refreshing the mind and body. Finding inspiration in new places, new sights and sounds, trying out new foods and spending time with family and friends.. It makes the cold, winter months seem worthwhile.

  3. Eating (and drinking!) outside - Al fresco dining is a joy in the summer months when temperatures and weather are most favorable. This style of dining is more casual and can often be party-like in atmosphere. Pub gardens, BBQ’s with friends, cocktails on the roof terrace and of course picnics in the countryside or the beach…all very liberating.

  4. Longer daylight hours - Exposure to natural light greatly benefits our health and well-being, boosting the immune system. There’s something so uplifting about natural light. It makes us feel brighter and happier, it boosts our energy, and it’s soothing to our natural rhythms.

  5. Healthy food - Fruits and vegetables have never tasted better! And at this time of year, it is simple to eat healthily with the abundance of seasonal produce.

  6. Keeping fit - When the sun’s out it is so much easier to get motivated about exercise. Long bike rides, keeping up with a regular running schedule, even morning boot camps become appealing when you have your sights on looking good in shorts and swimwear.

  7. Feeling good - Everyone feels better with a tan. Exposure to UV rays releases endorphins in the body, which product that ‘feel good’ emotion in our bodies. Along with endorphins, vitamin D which is something that our bodies obtain from the sun is said to help us with a mood boost. Between the endorphins and vitamin D boost obtained from tanning, it’s really no wonder that so many of us feel better.

  8. Relaxing - Wake up 10 minutes earlier in the summer, sit outside with your coffee and just enjoy the silence. All you need to do is take 10-15 minutes a day for you. It doesn't matter if you go on holiday or just take a walk. just enjoy some time off!

  9. Kids at home - One way to guarantee an easy summer is to take a break from scheduled activities. Refrain from filling your calendar with obligations, classes, and other commitments and the entire family will benefit from the beautiful concept of just spending time together and chilling out.
