Due to the enduring success of wood in the making of functional and beautiful furniture we use joinery wherever possible. Only the essential elements - butt hinges and drawer runners - are made of metal and are of the finest quality. Freestanding furniture drawers have traditional wooden runners.

You can choose from many different types of wood. However, we believe that open grain woods such as oak and ash are best suited to kitchen furniture, and others such as maple and iroko better suited to work surfaces.
